Local Development Scheme (LDS)

A Local Development Scheme (LDS) is required under Section 15 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended by the Localism Act 2011).

The LDS sets out the timetable for the Council's plan-making activities for the Local Planning documents, which make up the Council's Development Plan.

The LDS must be publicly available and kept up to date. This LDS replaces the 2024-2027 version.
